The following core courses are required for every certification:

• LITURGICAL FOUNDATIONS (20 HRS)
• LITURGICAL YEAR (18 HRS)
• EUCHARIST (18 HRS)
• MUSIC AND THE LITURGY (10 HRS)
• THE SECOND VATICAN COUNCIL (20 HRS)
